NOTABLE FORMULATING ACHIEVMENTS OF OUR TECHNICAL STAFF
We created the first "Color Corrective Shampoos" called Red, Gold, Yellow, and Green Out Semi Permanent Shampoo Treatments which have become the undisputed color corrective standard within the Professional Beauty Industry in the U.S., Canada and the U.K..
We formulated the first hair color enhancing shampoos.
We created "the standard" against which all other entries within the Equine and Canine showing industries are measured for coat color intensification. The four products completely dominate their market product category.
We formulated as yet the only all natural hair color lightening product capable of lifting natural haircolor one full color level by merely exposing it to the UV rays of midday sun.
We formulated the first "organo-modified silicone" hair care product line to be sold in the US. We were not the first in Europe. "Organo-modified" designates the chemical relationship of a hybrid organic / inorganic molecule demonstrating characteristic of both. The line was so revolutionary when introduced (1976) people were very reluctant to purchase it. Then Vidal Sassoon adopted the concept, experienced unprecedented success and today virtually all popular retail hair care lines incorporate the technology.
We created the first and as yet only, "fail safe" perm wave wrap which eliminates any possibility of a perm wave over-processing.
We formulated the first "alcohol free" hair spray sold in the US. This was a joint effort with National Starch and Chemical Co. who formulated the resin while we developed the compatible bases and delivery media.
Our most notable achievement at CDS has yet to be recognized or a commercial success. We developed a "fully synergistic continuum regime" of facial care. Our client, perhaps the worlds best know and most successful dermatologist, has yet to launch the line outside of test market.
