"It all begins with you" Of the many steps involved in bringing product to market, the most crucial is concept, or ideas. Is my idea sound? Will my idea work? Where is my market and how shall I reach it? How much will it cost? Who is best equipped to help me? Many questions but few answers. Ideas are born, but they seldom develope within a vacuum. Sharing is the incubator essential for growth to maturity. Yet it is in the sharing that ownership often comes into question and all to often is compromised. To enjoy confidentiality and security between collaborating parties, a formal and legally binding Confidentiality Agreement should be established allowing a free and healthy exchange to flourish while properly maintaining proprietary ownership of concept. Ask your contract packager to provide a Confidentiality Agreement before disclosing any concepts or ideas which qualify as proprietary. |
